Homeroom parents

Two parents who work together as the liaison between the teacher, parents and PTO for the class. Find out teacher’s favorite things to use for birthday, holiday, EOY and teacher appreciation week gifts. Collect funds from the class parents to purchase these. Touch base with volunteers before each class party to ensure it’s been taken care of.

 

Library Volunteer

Help keep our library in tip top shape during your child's library day/time.

 

Fall Party Coordinators

Parents who sign up for the parties typically communicate with the teacher to see what they would like done, send out the invitation to parents, and coordinate food, drinks, paper goods, crafts, party favors, etc.

 

Winter Party Coordinators

Parents who sign up for the parties typically communicate with the teacher to see what they would like done, send out the invitation to parents and coordinate food, drinks, paper goods, crafts, party favors, etc.

 

End of Year Party Coordinators

Parents who sign up for the end of year party typically communicate with the teacher for grade level event and coordinate with other class coordinators to plan event. Combined grade level class funds are typically used for party.

 

100th Day Celebration (Kindergarten)

Parents who sign up for the parties typically communicate with the teacher to see what they would like done, send out the invitation to parents and coordinate food, drinks, paper goods, crafts, party favors, etc.

 

Chick Unit Helpers (1st grade)

The 1st grade classes have a chick unit in the Spring. Parents who sign up as a chick unit helper will communicate with their 1st grade teachers to see what they need help with regarding this unit. This includes making chick unit folders, stuffing the folders, preparing the materials for the unit, and even picking up the chick eggs.

 

STEAM Day

Coordinator will contact you to sign up for specific shifts. Help with a special day of education and fun dedicated to STEAM, which is the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering Art/Design and Math.

 

Carnival

Friday, Nov. 2, 2018. Coordinator will contact you to sign up for specific shifts. Help with the carnival and serve as class liaison with carnival committee. This is a great event with rides, games, food vendors and lots of fun!

 

Teacher Workroom

Coordinator will contact you to signup for specific time shifts and training. Assemble materials, make copies, laminate items, etc. Your work in the workroom allows teachers to focus on the kids. A great and flexible position.

 

Teacher/Staff Breakfast

Coordinator will contact you to sign up for specific shifts. Lend a helping hand to set up, clean up or drop off a breakfast item for the monthly teacher/staff breakfast. Another great, flexible position.

 

Evening at Eanes

Event Date TBA - Coordinator will contact you to sign up for specific shifts. Help the Art and Music teachers set up for an evening showcasing students’ art, music, and/or help with take-down after the event. Typically held on an evening mid-week in the late Spring.

 

Heritage Day

Event Date TBA - Coordinator will contact you to sign up for specific shifts. Help with a fun multi-cultural day designed to share information about cultures from around the world.

 

Mustang Mania

Event Date (Spring) TBA - Coordinator will contact you to sign up for specific shifts. Help with setup, assist with stations, bring ice, and/or clean-up. Similar to a field day, grades rotate through different physical challenges on the Eanes outdoor fields.
